The Spiritual Aptitude & Attitude For the Days Ahead

It is our great hope and victory to be reminded that as Christ‘s disciples and followers that we can overcome all things, including persecution, hardship, and even death itself, because of His great love and grace to us, for us, and working through us. Let us be encouraged to know that even as Christ overcame we can overcome. Do not let anyone preach any other gospel message to us that says we will not face hardship and even persecution as His followers.

Even Christ Jesus experienced persecution as we too will experience. But our great hope is that whatever He overcame we too can overcome. This is our great hope and we must have our eyes set on eternity and not this temporary life. All that is lost in this life for Christ will be returned and multiplied back to us in the life to come. Take heart, my fellow brother and sister in Christ and know that our greatest days are ahead of us. If you are facing difficulty and hardship today, remember that Christ is for us and who could be against us and stand against the purposes of Christ for us. I pray that these verses will encourage you and help strengthen your faith today.

  • Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”” Daniel‬ ‭3:16-18‬

  • Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”” Revelation‬ ‭12:10-12‬ ‭

As Disciples of Christ Jesus, our promise is that we will overcome anything in His grace if we don't quite following Him. Again, the greatest days for you and me and those who desire to follow Christ are ahead of us. Take heart and receive encouragement. As God increases spiritual hunger for living to please Christ, He will entrust us with an increase of power and authority to stand as Overcomers of the enemies of the Kingdom of Heaven and His Truth.
